About AGT
Africa Great Thinkers (AGT) is a registered company founded in Tanzania on 12th July 2004 with the main objective of supporting Scientific and Technological creativities. It conducts Research and Development (R&D) through its inventors for commercial purpose while focusing on African development. Its “know how” & “know why” in Information Communication Technology (ICT) accelerates AGT engage in corporate business by offering ICT solutions. It deploys data & internet connectivity and supply modern network equipment including voice/video, computers and its peripherals. It also conducts training in computer application programs, computer repairs/maintenance, networking, website design and database. Furthermore, it undertakes outsourced services like systems and customer support. It offers ICT support by servicing/repair computers and other office equipment. It finally provides workable ICT consultancy and foresee any other future useful solutions.
Africa Great Thinkers was conceived through Tanzanian initiatives with encouragement from the young talented youths. They found a need of involving in invention activities by designing and fabricating equipment including School-Teaching tools on efforts of transforming Science and Technology development in Tanzania and Africa at large. They wanted as well to use their professionalism to carry out other business based on Information Communication Technology (ICT).
AGT SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES
- To stimulate and encourage interest in Science and Technology by monitoring and supervising the progress of young talents.
- To bring together talented people to brainstorm and interact each other hence come up with new inventions which will be helpful to the society.
- To design, patent, fabricate and sell its invented products.
- To value education by training people on using computers at affordable price and good quality.
- To Repair and Service Computers as well as other office equipment.
- To do network installations, databases design, Web & hosting and System administration.
- To sell network and telecommunication equipment at affordable cost.
- To value customers by providing them full satisfaction service all the time and exceeding their needs.
